Introduction to Autumn Sown Sweet Peas
This year marks our 22nd anniversary of supplying sweet pea plants by mail order.We sow the seed in autumn and the plants are over-wintered in large open tunnels with virtually no heat.
The resulting plants are of exceptional quality with strong root systems.
We send out the plants during the second half of March when they are ready to plant outside.
They should start to flower in late May or early June and continue throughout the summer.
