NEWSLETTER

May 2008

This Newsletter has to be prepared in a bit of a rush, due to the busy time of year and I apologise that it will take the form of a list of what is available at the nursery.

Again the weather has been the biggest problem for us and all gardeners this spring. April produced the worst frosts of the year , high winds and rain storms and on it’s last day, a most spectacular hail storm that seemed to only target Penybont!. However, May has started with a great improvement in the weather. Long may it continue.

As well as the usual lettuce, cabbage, cauliflower, broad beans, runner beans, courgettes, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and leeks, we are growing several new lines this year.
